An Xtream Codes player for Windows

Theia signs in with your Xtream Codes login on Windows 10 or 11 and brings in your live channels, the TV guide, movies and series in one go. Paste the server address or the get.php link your provider sent, and Theia works out the rest.

What an Xtream login is

Xtream Codes is the sign-in many IPTV services use: a server address, a username and a password. A playlist link hands the player a list of channels. A login lets it ask the server for more, including the guide, movies, series, catch-up and how many streams your account allows.

Some providers send the login as one long link with get.php or player_api.php in it, followed by username= and password=. Theia reads that link as the same login, so either one works.

Sign in on Windows

  1. Get Theia, free, from the Microsoft Store or the download page.
  2. Paste the link or the server address in setup. If you were given a server, username and password separately, click Enter server, user and password by hand.
  3. Click Check link, or Check account if you typed the details by hand. Theia signs in and shows your account’s status before anything is saved. Then click Add source.

Channels, movies and series load first, then the guide, each with a count as it goes. Start watching appears as soon as the channels are in.

Your provider password is encrypted for your Windows account and stays on your PC. More in Your data.

What comes with it

  • The guide, ready to go. An Xtream login brings its own guide. Theia also checks the times against your provider’s listings, and when the guide looks off, Fix it puts it right.
  • Movies and series. Browse by category and sort by what’s new. Theia remembers where you stopped and plays the next episode. A title your provider lists in several versions shows once, and you pick the quality or language. Movies and series.
  • Catch-up. On channels where your provider keeps past programs, a small ring marks what you can still play from the start. How catch-up works.
  • Your stream limit, respected. An Xtream login reports how many streams your plan allows. Previews, recordings and multiview tiles stay inside that number, and Theia warns you before going past it.

If sign-in fails

Nothing is saved, and Theia says what went wrong, with a way forward.
