UHF for Windows
UHF is made for Apple devices and has no player for Windows. Theia is a native Windows IPTV player that takes the same M3U link or Xtream login you gave UHF, with the picture playing right above the guide. Here's how the two compare, including what UHF still does better.
Is there a UHF app for Windows?
No. UHF runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and Vision Pro. UHF Server does run on Windows, but it’s the recording server for those apps and doesn’t play anything on the PC.
Some sites with UHF in their name sell IPTV subscriptions. The app’s own site is getuhf.com.
What you get with Theia
- A real Windows player. Theia is built for a mouse and keyboard on a big monitor, with a guide that uses all of it. Get it on the Microsoft Store as Theia: IPTV Player, or straight from this site.
- Search that forgives typos. One box covers channels, the guide, movies and series. Type a team half right and Theia finds the game, the channel it’s on and the score. How it works.
- Every game, and where to watch it. The Sports screen lists today’s games with live scores, each with every channel in your playlists that carries it. That includes the event channels your provider renames every day.
- Up to 9 channels at once, with Premium. Pick a layout, drag tiles where you want them, and hear the one you choose.
- Recording without a server. With Premium, Theia records on the PC it’s running on. There’s no second machine to set up.
- Streams that fix themselves. When a stream drops, Theia holds the last picture and brings it back. When one lags, it moves to a better stream of the same channel on its own.
- On your TV too. Theia’s beta runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, and updates itself. Theia for Mac updates itself too, and Premium bought here works on your computers and TVs.

What UHF does better
- It’s on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Vision Pro today. Theia is on Mac now, and iPhone, iPad and Apple TV come later.
- It plays your Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries.
- It casts to a TV with AirPlay or Chromecast.
- It can lock categories behind a PIN. Theia doesn’t have parental controls yet.
Switching takes two minutes
- Get Theia, free. On Windows, from the Microsoft Store or the download page. On a TV, install the beta with Downloader.
- Paste the M3U link or Xtream login you gave UHF. An Xtream login brings its guide, movies and series with it. If your guide came as a separate link, add that too.
- Star your favorites again. Theia can’t read UHF’s favorites or channel order. Favorites are free, and your own channel order and groups come with Premium.
Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries stay in UHF.
Checked September 30, 2026 against getuhf.com and UHF's App Store listing. Apps change.
