Delete your Theia account
From the app or right here. Theia keeps working without an account, so nothing on your devices stops.
In the app
- Open Settings > Account.
- Choose Delete account, then Email me a link to confirm.
- Open the link in the email.
On the web
Sign in below with your account's email, then choose Delete account.
What's deleted
Straight away, everything tied to your email: your account, devices, activity log and locked data (sources, favorites, history and settings), plus any beta key request, the device names on your license activations, the reply address on problem reports and your waitlist entry. Our nightly backups keep a copy for up to 90 days, then it's gone.
A monthly or yearly plan on the account won't renew, and you won't be charged again.
What stays
- Your license keys keep working on the devices that have them. They no longer carry your email, so they can't be sent to you again.
- Sources and favorites stay on your devices until you remove them there.
No account? There's nothing to delete. For anything else we hold, such as a problem report, email privacy@theiaplayer.com.
